Illusions   Collins, Mabel (1902)  Mystic, Rosicrucian.  This book is an effort towards the freeing of our consciousness from the limitation in which it habitually dwells, and which exists only by means of certain illusions that are common to all men.  To encounter illusions which are universal and which are practically unanimously accepted is a task of great difficulty;  it has, therefore, seemed both excusable and necessary to relate, as illustrations to the essay, various experiences.  These experiences have come to a psychic sometimes in dream consciousness and sometimes in trance consciousness.  They have been given under the guidance of a teacher or master evidently to make clear the illusions under which man labours.  Illusions:  that man is imprisoned in the body, That the unborn are unknown, that there is any secret in the mind or memory of man, that the earth exists apart form man, that nature is indifferent to man.

Impaired Health - Its Cause and Cure - vol. 1   Tilden, J.H. (1938 revised) Large index section for immediate reference.  Ideal for the doctor, but the educated layman may also use this volume to his advantage.

Impaired Health - Its Cause and cure - vol. 2 Tilden, J.H. (1938 revised)  A drugless system of healing.  The author says,  "Do drugs heal?  No physician of experience & education will say they do. A cure is the correcting of the life of the patient". This volume teaches this system. Shows how home care & diet for the various common ailments will help, according to the premise of Dr Tilden. This is the ideal book for the layman & should be read first together with `ToxemiaExplained'.

India's Hood Unveiled  deLaurence, L.W.   (1910)  South India mysteries in three parts.  Personal magnetism, hypnotism, mind reading, telepathy, the nature of the human mind, suggestion, how to induce hypnotic sleep, modes of procedure, mesmerism and clairvoyance, magnetic healing, how to treat different diseases, spiritual clairvoyance, various exercises to reach clairvoyance etc.  The author says on the title page that this book covers the following:  South India nysteries, astral & spiritual sight, Hindu hypnograph, ancient Hindu method for Hindu clairvoyance, Hindu levitation (raising the human body in the air), Hindu method of burial alive (suspended animation), spirit sight at will.
